The five routine maintenance methods for road rollers include the following:
1. Gearbox Maintenance.
A. The gearbox should be cleaned at least once a quarter. When cleaning, firstly, in the hot state, stop to open the oil drain plug on the side of the gearbox, release the lubricating oil in the box, screw the oil plug, and fill the tank with kerosene. Start the diesel engine, make the gearbox run at low speed for 2-3 minutes, stop the kerosene, clean the oil plug and screw it onto the gearbox. (Note: The kerosene must be cleaned to avoid the lubricating oil mixing with the residual kerosene and losing the lubricating effect. ), then add new lubricant, add to the oil level to the indicator line of the dipstick.
B. The gearbox uses No. 20 gear oil.
C. The positioning device of the shifting control mechanism and the reversing mechanism must be checked and adjusted frequently to keep the gear in the proper position to avoid accidents.
D. Always pay attention to check the leakage of the gearbox seals, if the seal is damaged, it should be replaced in time.
E. Always check the gearbox and frame coupling bolts, if necessary, tighten, do not loosen off.

2. Hydraulic System Maintenance.
A. Check whether the mounting bolts of the filter, valve, motor, oil pump, cylinder, etc. are loose, and whether there is oil leakage at each joint.
B. Observe the oil level gauge on the side of the fuel tank. When the hydraulic oil is too small, add the same grade of filtered hydraulic oil.
C. The hydraulic oil tank is cleaned once every six months and changed oil. When adding or changing oil, be careful not to mix impurities and dirt into the fuel tank. The new oil added or replaced must be filtered beforehand. Hydraulic oil with No. 68 anti-wear hydraulic oil. The hydraulic oil filter should be cleaned or replaced with a filter element after every 500 hours of use.

3. The Vibration Wheel Maintenance.
The vibrating wheel is replaced with oil every 1000 hours. Check the vibration of the vibrating wheel oil at any time; when checking the oil level, turn the fuel filler to the upper position and open the oil drain to make the oil leak out until it leaks or leaks. Replace the vibrating wheel oil during maintenance and pay attention to cleaning when changing oil. Lubricating oil uses CD grade 30# diesel engine oil. For the lubrication maintenance of the running bearings, a sufficient amount of calcium matrix grease should be added to the corresponding oil cup position after an average of 20 days.

4. The Main Clutch Maintenance.
A. In addition to paying attention to adjusting the operating mechanism at all times, the main clutch should also check and adjust the ends of the three separating rods in the same plane and keep a certain gap (0.4-0.7 mm) with the separating bearings.
B. The main clutch should be smoothly and gently disengaged when it is engaged and disengaged. Do not use excessive force. When the clutch is engaged, the clutch pedal must be returned to the original position to fully engage the clutch. When the clutch is disengaged, the pedal must be stepped to the end to make the clutch Completely disengaged, during operation, the clutch must be prevented from being in a half-clutch half-engaged state to avoid burnout of the clutch.
C. Check the main clutch frequently to avoid contamination of the surface of the friction plate and the pressure plate.

5. Side Transmission Drive Maintenance.
Due to the low speed, large load and vulnerability to dust and sand, the side drive should always check the lubrication condition, regularly remove the mud, sand and fine stone dirt on the gear and apply a new layer of calcium-based lubrication. Grease to avoid damage accidents.
