Recently, a client from Liberia contacted us via Facebook seeking to purchase two multi-purpose cargo trucks. The client plans to transport basic construction materials—such as cement—from the Port of Monrovia to surrounding inland towns for distribution. In addition to heavy construction supplies, the client's transport operations also encompass agricultural products and various types of general loose cargo. The actual operating conditions encountered by customers using trucks for logistics are often complex. When loading high-density, heavy cargo—such as bagged cement—the side walls of the cargo box are subjected to immense lateral compressive forces; conversely, transporting general merchandise places a premium on cargo box volume. Regarding road conditions, major arterial routes leading from the capital to the interior are predominantly paved highways; however, roads extending deeper into rural towns and villages are frequently unpaved, uneven dirt tracks that become particularly muddy and treacherous during the rainy season. Standard container semi-trailers are prone to getting stuck in these narrow and poorly paved areas, so 6x4 trucks, which combine high load capacity and high flexibility, are a good choice.

In terms of powertrain, the HOWO 6x4 cargo truck is equipped with a Weichai WP10 340-horsepower, National II-compliant engine featuring a mechanical fuel pump. This engine demonstrates exceptional tolerance for local diesel fuels characterized by high sulfur content and impurities, thereby significantly reducing the failure rate of the fuel system. The chassis utilizes a 16-ton-class dual rear axle with wheel-side reduction, delivering ample torque to facilitate heavy-load starts and uphill climbing. Paired with 12R22.5 mixed-tread tires, the vehicle achieves favorable fuel economy and offers enhanced resistance to punctures, minimizing the risk of blowouts. Furthermore, the technology underpinning this model is highly mature, resulting in a very low overall failure rate.

The cargo box superstructure features a unique plug-in pillar structure and high-strength corrugated panels; this design effectively disperses the outward expansion pressure generated when hauling heavy loads, such as cement, thereby preventing deformation and damage to the side beams. Furthermore, the cost of replacing or repairing individual components in the future is extremely low. The upper section, comprising a tubular steel lattice, expands the loading volume, making it ideally suited for transporting light, bulky general cargo. Upon arrival at inland distribution points that lack heavy-duty lifting equipment, the side panels can be lowered in sections, facilitating simultaneous manual unloading by local workers at multiple points. This significantly boosts loading and unloading efficiency, ensuring an excellent user experience.
