Our Zambia customer is regular customer, he is currently involved in the container logistics and transport industry, and also regularly sells trucks to local customers. Recently he won a tender for 20 tractor heads for a container transport job from Dar Es Salaam port to Lusaka. The tender request the tractor head engine horsepower can't be less than 380HP, so we choose 400 horsepower engine for tractor head. The engine model is WP12.400E201, WEICHAI brand. It should be noted here that when transporting goods of the same tonnage, the higher the horsepower, the lower the fuel consumption on the contrary. That's because the high-horsepower engine reduces the power loss from shifting gears at start-up and low speeds, and can quickly increase to cruising speeds.
