TRUCKMAN AUTO 4 axle 80 tons lowboy semi trailer use the Q355 high strength steel material, instead of Q235 carbon steel. The Q355 high strength steel advantage as follow:
A. The yield strength of Q355 steel can reach 355MPa, while the yield strength of Q235 steel is only 235MPa.
B. The purchase cost of Q355 steel is 2 times that of Q235 steel, but the bearing capacity and service life are 5 times that of Q235 steel.
C. Q235 is just an ordinary steel plate, not a high strength plate. It is only suitable for some simple semi trailer cargo boxes, such as the fuel tank trailer tank body. For flatbed trailer cargo box, we suggest use the Q355 high strength steel.
